Nov 2nd – Elrection Party!

BUSSHU v. KERII 2004...

   ...---'---...
  • Tuesday, November the 2nd, 2004
    • 6:30pm – Supper for those that can make it at Forrest’s.
    • 8pm – Party at Howell’s: acoustic jam, libations, prayers, etc.
    • 9pm – Polls open on the East Coast.
  • Wednesday, the 3rd (Culture Day, national holiday)
    • 7am – Results start coming in (maybe earlier).
      • Pancake breakfast / media fest at Forrest’s.
      • Bring your laptop (wireless or wired) to add to the media overload. We’ll have NPR, C-Span, BBC, CNN, and other feeds going…
    • 1pm – Celebration, lamentation, and maybe lunch at Taneichi Seaside Park, if it’s sunny.
   ---...,...---

And remember, it ain’t over til the last vote is cast, counted, contested, recounted, sued over, and sent to the Supreme Court. That’s the American way.

- Forrest

PS: If you can’t make it to Taneichi you can still join the “media fest of solidarity” via instant messenger (aol, msn, or yahoo).

where the hell are you? are you in japan or back in the states? i’m confused.

      how is that confusing???

Japan yo… we’re doing an election party to pray and breakfast the next day to watch the results come in. Most of the people that have RSVP’d are not even American… buncha limeys looking to party. But that’s a good thing too.

        Re: how is that confusing???

i was also confused by the fact that i had a vague recollection of someone saying that you’d be back in the states around august.
